Speakeasy cocktail bar

Our Speakeasy

What is a speakeasy? We hear this a lot: A speakeasy is a bar or club that was hidden or secretive, particularly during the Prohibition era in the United States (1920-1933), when the sale of alcohol was illegal. These establishments operated outside the law, often requiring a password or secret knock for entry, and offered alcoholic beverages to patrons. Today, the term can also refer to modern bars that emulate the style and atmosphere of these historical venues, but operate legally.

Our Speakeasy aims to set the tone in Bowling Green for this type of experience. Harkening back to the days of old when prohibition loomed large over everyday folks wishing to dress up, let their hair down, and enjoy a great cocktail and dine to the soothing sounds of jazz and blues. Although not required, a business casual dress code is highly recommended.

Join us and immerse yourself in the past through art deco decor, live jazz and blues, pre/post prohibition cocktails, a full dining experience, a private club cigar lounge, and a full bar.

The Speakeasy is open Thurs-Sat 5pm-12am with live Jazz/Blues on Friday and Saturday nights. Check Facebook or Instagram for times and bands who will be playing.
